I had never been to a gym in all my 50 something years. However, the evidence on menopause and the importance of resistance training is compelling so I decided ‘I have to do this’. I came to Putton Mill terrified I was going to make an eejit of myself and do myself a mischief because I have little coordination or balance. With kindness and expertise Bruce has enabled me to build my confidence and (more importantly) physical strength. I really appreciate being part of the small group training. It’s just the right amount of coaching and supervision. I can now lift bags of compost round the garden without giving it a second thought and I actually have muscles in my arms!
